He dug his teeth suddenly deeper into her flesh, only deep enough to leave a mark in the skin, but only in another playful attempt for some sort of reaction. He could feel the blood she'd drunk running through her veins, and his instinct was nagging him to bite down, but he'd perfected his ability to ignore his instinct so well it was barely just a small thought dashing quickly at the back of his mind, his concentration was currently on Vira.

She cave a moan of enjoyment and pain as he bit down harder, still wishing he'd bite down just that little bit harder. He didn't move except for to dig her nails deaper into his wrist. Her eyes were closed, and her mouth hung open just enough for her to breath through. Her mind flashed briefly to that night on the temple steps in her burning village when she was turned. She remembered how much her Sire's bite had hurt her. The pain had been unbearable, so unbearable she'd passed out. Now, though, she wanted the pain, she enjoyed it. The feel of Corban's fangs on her neck felt better than just about anything she'd ever felt. She found herself wanting him to break her skin, wanting him to draw her blood from her neck. Though, she didn't want it so he'd have blood in him, she wanted it so she could feel the pleasure of the blood flowing out of the vains in her neck and into his mouth.

He felt her dig her nails deeper into his wrist, the pain of it took him by surprise, and usually when Corban was in pain his instinct would be to clench his teeth, not exactly a good idea since they were currently occupied. Barely realising it, he sunk his fangs into her neck, the skin breaking under the pressure and his fangs sinking into the flesh, he shuddered violently as he tasted the blood burst into his mouth. The taste took him by surprise, but it only made him drink in deeper, finding it was hard for him to simply pull his fangs away once they'd dug in and he'd caught the taste. After all, he did need it. He held Vira tighter now, pulling her as close as he could, his eyes falling shut, his love for her only enhancing the feeling of euphoria that always temporarily struck him during a feed. He never felt guilty during the act of killing, only after the deed had been done. During the actual kill it was pure ecstacy, gladly tonight he would be feeding without that consequence

She took in a gasp of air at the sudden burst of pain in her neck as he broke the skin, the blood spilling from her neck into his mouth. Her eyes were closed, her breathing heaving, a look of sheer elation on her face. Though the pain was immense, it didn't seem to bother her. She began to feel slightly light-headed as he continued to draw the blood from her body, but she pushed the feeling aside for her joy much outweighing the feeling of light-headedness.

He tore his fangs finally away from her neck, letting go of her he found he had to lean on the counter to keep from collapsing, although why he wasn't too sure. The rush of blood through his veins was a shock to the system, the pleasure of it feeling like an odd, alien feeling to him, as he was so used to being down-trodden and hate-filled after feeding. His eyes were only half open, his head falling forward just enough so that his curls shrouded a large portion of his face. He tried to find words to say but was absolutely speechless, the taste of blood still on his tounge and the overall event completely throwing him off guard and boggling his senses.

She, too, had to lean against the counter, her body greatly weakened due to the lack of blood. She didn't care, especially seeing as Corban needed the blood more than she did. She grabed the jars of blood on the counter, opening them and downing the quickly to help her regain some of her strength. She turned to face him, reaching out with a shaky hand and gently pushing away the curls of hair that had fallen infront of his face. She gave him a small smile, knowing he'd finally felt the joys of feeding. "Feels wonderful, doesn't it?" she asked, a gentle hand on his cheek.

He could hear her opening one of the jars next to him but paid no heed. He only looked up again when she reached her hand up to his face. He had no idea how to respond to her words. Yes, wonderful, and ironic because he knew he'd never feel such a thing again, because under normal circumstances he wouldn't have allowed himself to, and even now that he knew what it felt like he still wouldn't allow himself such a pleasure. It sounded more sickening to him than killing did. To kill not only because one needs to replenish themselves, but also for the mere joy of it He wanted to voice these thoughts, but after some consideration he chose not to, knowing they might very well sound offending or foolish to another vampire. Instead he cleared his throat and muttered.
"Sorry about that...."
He stole a glance down to his wrist, where she'd imbedded her nails into his flesh and caused such a reaction from him.
"...You surprised me."
Looking up now, his dark eyes fell upon the marks in her neck that remained from his bite. Similair marks were still on his other wrist from last night when she'd drunk from him. He felt tempted to pull her back to him and bite her again but ignored this.
"We're even now."
He said this as he gestured to the marks still on his own wrist. He'd been very thankful for her drawing blood out of him last night, he'd wanted a way to repay her for it and felt that this was it. Though why he thought in such a way he was unsure, he had the mild suspicion she'd enjoyed him biting her, maybe because he'd derived some enjoyment from it himself last night. Whatever the case. They were even.

She listened to his words, somewhat shocked that he'd apologized. His mild suspicion was, indeed, correct, and if it wasn't for how weak she felt, she wouldn't have minded if he had pulled her back to him and bit her once more. She sat down on the counter just beside where he was standing. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she leaned forward and planted a gentle, loving kiss on him lips. Breaking the kiss, she moved on hand to his cheek, a gentle smile on her face.
"Corban, don't be sorry. I'm not mad, not in the least. Slightly weakened, maybe, but..." she broke off, laughing slightly. "When I was a mortal, the night I was turned, my Sire's bite gave me such an unbearable pain that I passed out. Since then, the pain hasn't really been... pain. It's been... pleasure. But tonight..." she trailed off, a loveing smile on her face, her hand still on his cheek.
She leaned forward once more, kissing him again. She wanted him to know she wasn't even the slightest bit mad at him for bitting her and that he needn't apologize, that she had enjoyed the feel of his fangs in her neck.

He'd looked up at her as she'd spoke but the vacant look on his face suggested her words weren't entirely sinking in or being listened to. Quite possibly he was still in complete shock over the entire thing, more accurately on how much he'd enjoyed it. The only thing he'd managed to work out was that she wasn't mad, not that he'd suspected her to be, he'd said sorry out of habit, the word always slipped out whenever he did something sudden or unnesacary, even if what he'd done had been a good idea at the time or not.
He blinked, returning half-way to reality as he leant up and returned the kiss. His mind now was on his earlier thoughts, about how some vampires loved to hunt and he'd never understood it, he could more or less understand now, but it only increased his revulsion on the subject.

She broke the kiss with a heavy sigh. His mind was elsewhere, and she knew it. She understood somewhat what he had to be going through at the moment. He'd just experienced what it was like to feed without the guilt of the kill, and she knew it had to be mind boggling. She gently ran her hands through his hair, the soft, loving smile still on her face. Her hands where still shaking terribly, and she knew she needed more blood. She reluctantly pulled away from him, slidding off the counter and walking over to the fridge, opening it and taking out a few more jars of blood, downing them quickly. She still felt weak, but her hands had stopped shaking with the addition of the blood to her body. She walk back over to him, sitting back down on the counter and taking his hand in her own, giving it a gentle squeeze, the loving smile once again on her lips.

He was barely aware of her presence now, he felt brow-beaten and uncertain. He'd just managed to understand something he'd never wished to understand and now he felt overcome with disgust and confusion. He wanted to be able to speak of it, he wanted desperately to have the courage to say what he thought and for someone to understand it and possibly relate. The sad thing was he knew even if he could bring himself to speak of it what vampire could listen without thinking him childish? He disliked being in such a bind, such a mood, it was unpleasant for him and he was certain it was unpleasant for Vira. Turning to face her, he kissed her lips before speaking.
"I'm sorry, Vira. I'm just...Confused."
He grimaced at his own words, clearly that wasn't what he'd wanted to try and express.

Vira returned his kiss lovingly. She nodded to his words. To her, it made perfect since why he was suddenly so confused. "It's alright, Corban. You've just felt what it's like to feed without the guilt of the kill. It's a wonderful feeling to feed without guilt, one you've never felt before. You're waiting for the familiar guilt, but it's not going to come. The longer you wait, the more confused you're going to get," she told him, slightly surprised at her own words. She didn't usually know how to word things, especially feelings. "Atleast, that's what it seems to me..." she added softly, not wanting i to seem like she knew everything because she knew she didn't know everything. She simply wanted to help corban understand his confusion, and she wanted to help him become unconfused.
( yeah... I think I got a bit rambly there... :/ )

He blinked several times, not bothering to agree or disagree with her logic for he was still in the dark of what exactly his mind was doing, or at least trying to do. Attempting to usher the puzzling thoughts away, he turned to face her and stood in front of her, wrapping his arms around her waist and leaning his head against her shoulder, shutting his eyes and in turn shutting himself off from the ramble of puzzled words still scurrying in his mind, focusing solely on Vira's presence to distract himself from all else.

She welcomed his arms around her waist, wrapping her own arms around his back and neck, a hand gently twisting his hair through her fingers. She wasn't sure what else she could possibly say to this "hoplessly human" vampire which she'd fallen in love with. She turned her head and gently nibbled his earlobe in an attempt to cheer him up. She ended her gentle nips to his ear, slowly kissing down his cheek and neck. She had to lean forward slightly to reach, giggling ever so slightly as she did so.

His eyes remained closed, but the vague traces of a smile were beginning to form on his lips as he felt her lips upon his skin, he shifted encourageably closer to her, tilting his head slightly to thr right side to make it easier for her to kiss his neck. Finding that after his playfulness he was very willing for her to do the same to him, being the attention-seeker he was he enjoyed it immensly, and it was the perfect thing to get his mind off the constant battle of thought currently raging within him.
