He gazed at her face in silence for now, unmoving, the sly smirk still upon his face, not even reacting to her kiss. He appeared to be thinking, but of what was uncertain, usually when in one of these moods he scarcely thought, he acted upon his desires and did nothing more. Placing a hand between her and him, he pushed her gently, pinning her down on the bed with his weight, he then simply kissed her lips lightly, in a seemingly teasing sort of way, and sat up again before speaking.
"There is no physical gesture close enough to express my love for you."

She watched him, her eyes unmoving from him. Her eyes closed briefly as his lips brushed lightly against her own. Looking up at him, a confused look on her face. It took her a moment to fully comprehend his words. When they finally sunk in, the look of confusion vanished, she reached up, pulling him back down to her and kissing him more passionately than ever.
His words still rang through her head. Part of her wished there was some physical gesture that would express his love for her, though the other part of her was overwhelmed with joy that there wasn't. Never in all her life- mortal or vampire -had she ever loved anyone as much as she loved Corban.

He enjoyed the kiss for a short moment, then tore his lips away, sitting up and leaning back against the wall. He was tired, and although he loved her and hated to be away from her, the familiar feeling of being smothered and wanting to be alone that had driven him away from people in his past had begun to creep up on him. He continued to smile though, his back against the wall now as he gazed quietly at Vira. Eventually he spoke, sounding casual.
"I can't stay with you for too long, Vira...Tomorrow night I'm going back to my apartment."
He leant over her to place a soft kiss upon her lips before saying with a small smile.
"But I'll look for you the night after."
It sounded painful to him, to be away from her for an entire night, but he knew it was nessacary.

His words reached her ears, and she couldn't help but feel slightly crestfallen even though she knew it was for the best. She needed time to think about quite a few things, such as whether or not she wanted to see if Corban wanted to go to the coven. She had a feeling he wouldn't want to see the castle, wouldn't want to be around the other vampires. His words of how other vampires had found him 'sickening' once more echoed through her head, causing a sigh escape her lips as she nodded.
'I'll go to the coven tomorrow,' she thought. 'The garden there is a nice place to sit and think... and I need to think... After I feed, of course.' A smile crossed her face as she'd though about the garden at the coven. "You know where to find me. If I'm not here I'll be at the coven." Once again, her mind was filled with the questions of whether or not he'd go to the coven, even if it was just to find her. Shaking these thoughts from her head once more, she rolled onto her side- facing him -and closing her eyes.

Ah yes, the coven..., he thought this to himself gloomily. He'd been hoping that he could avoid having to look for her at the coven, but apparently not. A small frown on his face suggested that his overall dislike towards covens had decided to make an appearance, but he dare not say a word, unwilling to explain or talk of it at all. His past with covens had been eventful and...interesting to say the least. He kept this to himself however, leaning back against the wall in silence, the small frown still tainting his perfectly angelic features, dark eyes distant and faded with unhappy and generally upsetting memories. Biting his bottom lip with his two front teeth, he nodded at her and muttered.
"Of course..."

Minerva sighed, she could see the frown on his face, the distant look in his eyes. She took his hand in her own, lacing their fingers, a gentle smile on her face as she said, "I'll try to be here." She would try to be at her house. She wasn't going to force Corban to go to the coven unless he wanted to go to the coven. "We should probably get to sleep..." she said, not really wanting to herself. There was a glow from the sun on the ceiling above the curtain. She yawned, closing her eyes.
(sorry it's so short, my muse ran away 'cause my friend wouldn't shut up...)

He watched her, still in silence, thinking to himself he should probably say something along the lines of "no, it's fine", but unable to force himself to. He followed her gaze to the cieling as she spoke, and nodded in mild agreement. He was beginning to feel drowsy, it was unlike him to go to sleep so late in the morning and wake up as early in the evening as he'd been doing, it was leaving him with a permenantly exhausted feeling, all the more reason to go to sleep, wake up and head back to his apartment and have a short rest. He couldn't help but wonder how long it would take him to begin missing Vira again.
Laying back into the bed, he lay his hands under his head and shut his eyes, aiming to put himself to sleep as fast as possible..

"Good night, Corban," she murmured before drifting off to sleep for the seconed time that day. She hoped she wouldn't once more have the dream she'd had only abuot an hour before.
--
The sun had sunk behind the horizon an hour before she awoke. Her eyes didn't open, though. She wanted to go back to sleep. She'd be paying a visit to the coven tonight. She needed to get out and away so she could think. "Corban?" she asked softly, hoping he hadn't left already. She did, afterall, atleast want a good bye. She finally streatched and opened her eyes, looking at the top of the window to see nothing but darkness filling the room.

He'd woken up earlier than expected, about only twenty minutes after the sun had gone down and the moon had risen, but he didn't leave, usually he would have walked out without a word or a goodbye, but he decided to wait for her to wake up so he could give her a proper farewell, surprised at his own thoughtfulness.
He stood next to the window, leaning his right side against the wall, his arms crossed casually over his slender torso, narrowed dark eyes gazing outwards into the cemetary beyond the thin veil of glass. The light of the moon gave his white skin an eerie glow, giving him the look of a spectre rather than an angel which was his usual appearance. He didn't notice as she awoke, still far off in his own world, one of his trance-like states having taken over temporarily.

She sat up, seeing him standing by the window. "Good evening, Corban," she said, standing and walking over to him. "I guess you'll be leaving soon, then..." she said, a saddened note in her voice. She stared out the window at the graveyard, a sigh passing her lips.
She knew they had to be alone for a day or so, no matter how hard or painful it was going to be. She knew it would be worthwhile when she thought of being able to see him once more. As smile crossed her face as she that crossed her mind. She found herself wanting him to leave just so she'd be able to see him again the following night.

He turned to her slowly, giving her a look of indifference and complete lack of emotion, blatantly trying to mask a sadness behind the expressioness gaze. He slunk his arms around her waist and gave her a light peck upon her lips, refusing to get too deep into the kiss, just in case he became too engrossed into the passion and love and winded up staying for yet another night. Allowing himself a small smile, he spoke to her.
"I'll see you tomorrow night."
Kissing her once more on her forehead, he held her for a moment longer, before pulling away and walking out of the bedroom into the hallway, turning his head back to speak once more.
"I love you, Vira."
Without another word he slipped out of the door, knowing all too well that if he didn't leave now he wouldn't leave at all.

She returned the kiss, saddened that he was leaving, but glad that he had atleast waited for her to awaken before he departed. "I love you too, Corban. Good bye until tomorrow," she replied as he left. Giving a sigh as she heard her front door close softly, she walked to her closet, pulling out a change of clothes before heading to the shower. She was going to feed then head to the coven and hopefully make it home before the sun rose....
(( mkay, I'm almost done with a new topic at the coven, but I need a title..... ))
