She continued her gentle kisses up and down his neck. Every now and again, she gently nip his skin with her fangs, though not nearly hard enough to break his skin. She loved him, and wanted only for him to be happy and content. By now, she'd covered the entire side of his neck with gentle, loving kisses two or three times over. She couldn't help but giggle as she continued kissing his neck, her hand still gently twisting locks of his hair through her fingers.

He smiled contently, burying his face into her shoulder and allowing her to do as she wished to him. A steady shiver ran through him as she nipped at his neck with her fangs, he'd half expected her to sink her fangs into his neck as some sort of payback for his own actions, not that he would have particularly minded. He found that things that would annoy him to the point of outrage with other people were more than tolerable with Vira, and still he had that odd sensation that he would easily yield to her in whatever way, by now he'd summarised that this wouldn't be something that would fade away anytime soon.

She continued giving him soft kisses up and down his neck, smiling as he burried his face into her shoulder. She gave his skin another playful, loving nip. She took her hand and placed it over where his heart would be. She started slowing the kisses, keeping her lips against his skin for longer periods of time. She wanted a reaction, but she didn't want to bite him any more than the gentle nips.
(( so sorry it's so short.... ))

He didn't move, only leant against her, enjoying her kisses and nips but reluctant to show it. Tightening his grip around her, he pulled her towards him so their bodies were pressed firmly against eachother again. She'd find that his skin emnated a very slight warmth from when he'd fed from her only a few minutes ago, though the amount of blood he'd taken hadn't been enough to darken the shade of his skin, which was still a ghostly white. He turned his head so he was facing her neck, and raked his fangs against the skin on her neck, only deep enough to break the surface layer. He'd done this for the same reason as before; for a reaction.

She arched her back slightly, chills running down her spin, as he raked his fangs against her neck. She gave a short, girlish squeal as he did so, clearly enjoying it. She slowly moved her kisses back up his neck to his ear, nibbling his earlobe gently. Her arms where wrapped securly around his middle, pulling him as close as she could, slidding slowly nearer to the edge of the counter, comming rather close to sliding off it and planting her feet on the floor once more.

He grinned to himself at her response to his fangs, then pulled himself away from her grasp and simply wandered out of the room, still grinning. His mischevious nature returning slowly but surely as the shock from his feeding was beginning to wear off, but he was back to taunting and teasing her, so that was at least a sign that he was on the road to recovery.

She watched as he pulled away, the mischievious look in his eyes. "Corban...." she said said, her voice filled with fake saddness, enjoying his teasing. She slid off the counter following him like a little puppy following it's master. "I'm going to find you, mister!" she called, sounding like a three-year-old as she said it, and feeling like a child too. She didn't usually allow people to play with her like this, though she found she was enjoying it. Perhaps a little more than she would've liked, but it didn't bother her at all, her mind on following Corban to wherever he hand gone off to.

It was a simple trick really, but being as he was stealthy by nature, having of course been a cut-throat assassin for the majority of his life, it was very effective. He stood just out of sight very close to the kitchen door, but standing so still and silent he was barely noticeable. When she wandered out of the room he slipped his arms around her and scooped her up into his arms, cradling her in his arms with the smallest of smirks on his face.

She gave a squeal of delight as Corban wrapped his arms around her and scooped her into his arms. She wrapped her arm around his neck, her other hand on his shoulder. She kissed him briefly before nuzzling her face into his neck and closing her eyes, a small smile on her face. She shifted closer to him in his arms, wanting him to hold her closer and tighter. She couldn't remember the last time she had been this close to someone is such a short amount of time. Infact, she couldn't remember the last time she had been this close to someone period.

He welcomed her lips against his openly and gladly, cradling her tightly in his arms. He felt as if he could never be too close to her for too long, he loved it, distracting him from all else. He could be completely confused and full of negativity, but all of it seemed to dissappear within moments of being by her side, when was the last time someone had that effect on him? The second he thought this he wished he hadn't, automatically his mind had come up with the answer and he wished it hadn't. Again that feeling of betraying someone close to him returned, but he was determined not to allow it to shroud him completely again. It was a foolish thought, he knew. But it was hard for him to forget about someone he'd been practically obsessed with for his entire mortal life and a great majority of his vampire life.
He let go of her and placed her feet back onto the floor, but kept his arms around her, reluctant to allow her to notice his sudden change of mood.

She allowed him to plant her feet on the floor once more, a dissapointment sinking in. She shifted the hand that had been on his shoulder to around his neck, resting her head against his chest. She didn't keep her head there long, though, lifting it and looking up at him, her eyes meeting his. She had to stand on her toes so she could once again press her lips lovingly against his.
She could feel his sudden change of mood, and this only caused her to kiss him more passionatly in an attempt to cheer him up. She slowly moved the kiss down his cheek and to his neck, once more covering his neck with gentle, loving kisses and the ocationaly nip of her fangs against his skin.

He shut his eyes, allowing her to kiss him but finding he couldn't bring himself to enjoy it right now or even respond. But he wouldn't pull away, neither would he make her aware of his feelings, in fear of making her feel unwanted. He fell into a silent stupor, his arms around her and his head bowed, eyes shut, only re-entering reality when he felt the sharp nip of fangs against his neck on occasion. Memories; these things tortured him now, unwilling to allow him any freedom.

She gave a small sigh, pulling back just enough so she could see his face. Placing a gentle hand under his chin, she lifted his head up gently from it's bowed position. She lifted it just enough so that when he opened his eyes, he'd be looking at her and not over her head. "Corban, something's wrong, isn't it?" she asked, her voice gentle and caring.
She loved him, and that love had given her a sort of... conection with him. She didn't know what it was, but she knew something was bothering him. His playfullness had left him once more, and he was there, but only physically. She didn't feel unwanted, but more.... worried. She wanted him back in reality with her, to once again feel his gental kisses on her neck and to be cradled in his arms.

He didn't want to open his eyes, and for several seconds he refused to, when she spoke however, he finally opened them and gazed at her quietly. He didn't have the slightest clue of what to tell her, in the end he forced a smile and shook his head.
"I'm fine. I was just thinking."
Slowly he pulled himself away from her, not wanting to look into her eyes anymore, seeing that love and compassion in them...It killed him, hurt him. And he didn't even know why, it just did, and what made it worse is that he knew when she looked into his eyes she'd see that same love and compassion reflected in them. Something he'd been positive he'd never be able to feel for anyone else, and now that he didn't know what to do with it. To let it be or burn it down, he didn't know. He wasn't betraying anyone, was he? No. Then why did he feel as if he was? Obsession. Blatantly obvious.

She reluctantly allowed him to pull away, her arms falling limp at her sides. She looked down at her bare feet, suddenly finding her deap red toenail polish very interesting to look at. She accepted his answer though she hadn't believed it was completly true. She turned with a heavy sigh, walking back to her bedroom, silently hoping he'd follow. She forced a weak smile at the kitten which was now curled up in a little ball, fast asleep on the bed.
She sat down, keeping one arm across her stomach, reaching out with the other hand and gently scratching the kitten's head. She'd tried to get Corban out of her mind, but found it quite hard. She momentarilly wondered when the last time the little thing hand eaten anything, telling herself she'd go to a store the next night and get it some food. She looked toward the doorway of her room, pulling her hand away from the kitten, wondering if Corban was still standing in the hall or if he'd left her without so much as a good bye.
